Thanks for the heads up as I need another lidl saddle, the Wittkop medicus gel is the trekking medium size saddle and is excellent. I will probably get two as they are so good and hopefully they will have some of the bike work stations as I haven't got one yet.

Checked their website and it says from Sunday 12th March for cycling offers, saddles are a bargain for £7.99 :) . No mention of work stations though :(.
On Thursday it is fitness/running gear and a tube (20 tabs) of zero to make up fruit drinks for £2.99 isn't bad comes in 3 flavours.

This is what I posted a couple of weeks ago :

"Another vote from me for the Lidl 'Witkopp Medicus' saddle when they have them in. Sensible price .. even if taking a gamble.
I know saddle comfort is subjective but over a period of time I notice quite a few people agree with me about their comfort.
At the last count they did three different models:
Mountain....thin and pointy .. uncomfortable for me

Trekking... bit wider and perfect for me

City ... really wide .. and again, surprisingly ..uncomfortable for me.

I've got the trekking version now on all three bikes (and a spare in a box!!)"

At £7.99 they are a steal in my opinion, HOWEVER, if you're a 100kg person like me, I've found they do eventually start to deform after a few hundred miles of rough ground use ... so unless you're fortunate enough to be lightweight and just use your bike on smooth surfaces I'd suggest you get a back up one. :)

None of them. Buy a charge saddle, cheap, well respected and good quality. I've had £150 saddles there were not as good at the charge saddles.

They comes to Sweden on the 27th! :) I'll camp outside Lidl then, need a few more. Have already a trekking and one sport. They are great, especially at that price. Like the trekking most.

Picked up two trekking saddles this morning and fitted them.
My local lidl was quite busy around the offer bins.

Me too! Bought two at Carmarthen today, one for my bike and one for the guest bike. ( Really wanted a white one for the carrera, but they only had that in the narrow saddle.) Fitted this evening yet to try them. Bought the computer too for the guest bike. Can't beat these prices.
