Hello,

I finally changed the tyre of my mountain bike and they are true now. But the bike remains wobbly on the road and it was difficult to turn as headset wasn't properly installed.

I decided to open it and found out that the bottom part of the headset was fine with the bearing installed, but the top part was a bit floating as the bearing couldn't get into the cup.

I decided to completely remove the top headset to change it to a new one:

The bottom bearing were sitting fine:

However, as I was going to install the new one, I realised that the replacement cup I had was too big to fit inside the headtube:

You can see the new cup on the left with the bearing is much wider than the one from the bike.

My bike headtube is about 33mm:

Now, I don't want to buy the wrong part and I'd like to get something that doesn't rust too. What is the right part to buy?
Would this one work?

Thank you

thanks, why the fire eye won't fit? it says ": 1.1/8 fork steerer". is it not the size i need?
Yes it's for a 1 1/8" fork steerer but that's the tube size. There are lots of different cup options that all work with 1 1/8" and the fire eye is a drop in integrated style, ie no cups the bearing just sits in the frame. You have a standard 1 1/8" frame style so you need a cup that presses in to hold the bearing. Like the fsa one you linked to.
