tho you might get a better quote if you use the insurance provider you use for your house and contents if you have any.

I have to buy bike worth £1400 as it is the only folding ebike avaiable through my Cycle2work scheme. Not much choice isn't it. Every insurer I tried to quote ask for £7.50 a month if I want to include personal injury. I dont know which insurer to choose

most should but they will say you have to use a certain type of lock like gold rated and must be attached to a non movable object.

i dont use any insurance but read the tc carefully.

Just a thought , it would only work on a ‘legal’ bike , the insurance company won’t say they just take your cash and when it comes to pay out they’ll bind you with bike laws and get out of it .

A very good reason to get MVSA certified?

it is expensive for what it is esp with a 250w batt but it will do the 5 miles you need but i bet the batts wont be cheap and as they use can bus you wont be able to get it recelled out of warranty.
