the one on ebay i would rather keep away from it, i would go for a bike that is represented by a brand not ebay trader

There is a risk with buying e bay bikes especially if they have no track record or support. Its entirely up to you, and how lucky you are feeling.

Alien have a sister company Synergie which shares the same trading estate and they have recently taken them over I believe. they have a similar 36v step thorough bike. Old Timer on here bought one recently for his wife... may be worth a look? at least they have a decent record for support and it is a similar price

Synergie Bikes - Breeze

Yes, a huge variety of tyres and tubes are available for 700c wheels, including Marathon Plus.

PM Old Timer he has had the bike a few weeks now.....

Hello,

I know 3E Ltd. They are based in Harrogate and have large retail premises. THey are about to move to a large warehouse.

The bikes on ebay are a genuine reduction - we sold a few of their bikes towards the back end of last year and have had no problems with them.

They are genuinely making way for new stock. I have no involvement with them other than retailing their bikes!

The guys who own the company - Mick and Frank are passionate. Frank is Chinese and has some fantastic links (he regularly visits China) and he is one of the most knowledgable people I have met when it comes to the manufacturing process of electric bikes and batteries.

I hope I'm not proved wrong, as they seem to be good blokes - hopefully we'll be speaking of them as providers of one of the best budget bikes when they release their new model next month. If it doesn't work, then I'm pretty sure it won't be for their lack of trying.

I'd give their bike a punt - I know that there are no issues with spare parts.

PM me if you have any further questions.

Cheers,

Martin
