I purchased the SJCam M10 Camera from Banggood last January , I paid more for it to come from their Middlesex Warehouse . The camera has been used on my Scooters , Motorcycle , Electric Bike and in the Car with excellent results, after some experimenting . Initially I used it mounted in the waterproof case and was pleased, but then noticed very slight lack of sharpness in the far distance on a very small centre part of the video . This was mainly apparent with tree branches ( no leaves at the time) and blockwork a few feet away . To cut a long story short, I then dispensed with the waterproof case and the results were perfect . I sent an Email to Banggood about this and asked if they could supply an alternative waterproof case to try and even offered to buy a spare . Guess what ? They didn`t bother to reply . My best results have been on my Suzuki X7 Motorcycle using a chest harness, mounted so that the machine`s handlebars and instruments are at the bottom of the picture . The car ones are good too , but you do get the reflection of the air slots on the facia in the windscreen . This doesn`t detract, as that is what the driver sees anyway , at least in an A3 Audi .
After this I sent for a miniature spy video camera for less than a tenner to try and video the creature that was eating the flowers on my Daughter`s grave in the Churchyard . I found the snag with this one , as soon as I plugged in my external power supply, it stopped recording . Not to be beaten I sent to GearBest for a £20 one which could take the external battery supply . This one gave very acceptable results mounted on a lollipop stick in amongst a large pot of roses . It was hidden so well that the Grass Cutters weren`t even aware of it . The creature eluded me and I gave up , I never did get the Squirrel on video . Perhaps next year , although I think the nearby Farmer has eliminated him after losing all his kitchen garden produce .
My M10 is the Wi Fi version for about £74 which was silly, as I don`t have a `phone to control it . I paid £15-£20 extra for this version, as it would be future proof . I notice GearBest are doing the basic version for £58 at present , an excellent buy . The SJCAM 4000 is the original fake of the Go-Pro and there are lots of fakes of the SJCam 4000 about , although none of the M10 to my knowledge .
I would have no hesitation in using GearBest to purchase an SJCam , Banggood were regarded , but disappointed me by not responding to my Email . If anyone has any queries regarding the M10 and the accessories ,please come back to me .
