He is a SHE!

Sorry. I should have said, in my introduction.
Careless of me Stranger, for I'd already read between the lines from your original posts and realised you were female. We males have ways of telling the difference. ;) :)

The cycle track isn't marked as far as I can see, but you're in Michael, cycling between Maes Y Mor and Maes Y Farchnad.

Let me know if that's not right. :)

There doesn’t seem to be many members who live in Gwynedd, Wales, I live about 5 miles south of Caernarfon post code LL54, not far from cycle track Lon Eifion, cycle track 8
Michael.
Hi Michael,

Great to have someone in Wales at last. Styx, Elephants Gerald, Silver Surfer and I have been the closest for a while now.

Welcome aboard! :)

They're at Penygroes Michael, I used the LL54 code to get that position.

They're just above Llanllyfni, a a long way from Pwllheli, so I guess it's a very big postcode zone.

However, I've moved you now and you're riding at Ala Road. Click on your name in the alphabetical list to see the location. :)

Thanks for the information Flecc, I actually live in Groeslon, still part of the LL54 post code.

I cycle almost daily to Pen y Groes and pass Maes y Mor amd Maes y Farchnad on the way to the newsagents to collect my papers!!

Just shows how observant I am!!

Sorry for all the confusion and happy cycling.

Ok Michael, no problem, it's difficult to get it right with large post code areas. I've now moved you north and you're now cycling back into Groeslon from the A487 roundabout. We usually get there in the end. :)

You are in with your bikes CeeGee, cycling on St Georges Avenue, B372. :)

Thanks - I wish I could afford to live that side of the railway tracks, rather than the top end of the B373. :)

:D
That makes it sound like a US city Colin, "the wrong side of the tracks" being a common expression there.

Social divisions formed by the railroad are very common in their cities, but I'd never heard of it here before.

St George's Hill is often referred to as the Beverley Hills of Surrey, so the reference is sometimes used.
North of the railway in Weybridge is where the "normal" citizens live. South of the railway is St George's Hill where a garden shed cost £1 million - and the actual houses/mansions proportionately more. Mind you, I bet they don't have many electric bikes on the estate. :)

We have the multi-millionaire areas like that as well, but they can have advantages. One morning cycling through one which has a private primary school, a "crocodile" of the children immaculate in their uniforms was walking on the pavement towards me. As I reached them they chorused as one "Good morning sir"!

Such was my surprise I had a job getting out the "Good morning children" response in time. As a cyclist I'm more used to kids yelling out abuse.
