Some pedant will be along in a minute to tell you that WD40 is a water displacer, and as such is not the most effective way to reduce brake functionI found that if you spray them with WD40, they go nice and quiet!
Yeh I guessed they are organic, , so that was my initial queryI found that if you spray them with WD40, they go nice and quiet!
Only joking. For Christ's sake don't do that. Try this instead. Loosen the two screws that hold the caliper - the ones that point in a radial direction, not the axial direction ones. While they're completely loose, hold the brake on tight, and while holding it on, tighten the screws. If that doesn't work, try a different pad material. You can get organic, sintered, soft ceramic, carbon and other ones. You probably have organic, so try sintered.
eBay search for Tetro but pads..Yeh I guessed they are organic, , so that was my initial query
They shouldn't be squealing, I have no issues with my mountain bikes.
I have cleaned and dressed the pads, realigned calliper, cleans the rotor, hence I was at a losss.
Do you know which pads fit the tetro cable disc brakes ?
