these ones, best to use with some puncture proof goo, flat thread in the middle is smooth on tarmac, but they are also fantastic cross country. making a dual suspension powerful bike required a custom reinforced bike rack and fortunately and I have figured out how to fix the hub and everything in case there is a bit of rust , a really waterproof motor is essential for any winter riding, and that's very hard to get hold of.

That particular bike gave little assist beyond about 12 mph so on the flat Trail it was quite easy to pedal beyond that. The riding style was always full throttle but the speed was high enough that the assist was often minimal.
I managed to find a longish (flat) bit of road today, to try out the bike (instead of the usual hills). Bike went well with full throttle and 4th or 5th gear selected. 6th was too high and resulted in the motor fading out as I reached 14mph. 5th seemed the best gear. So judging by that, the trail should be a fairly fast run at 12mph to 14mph (wow - normally 6mph to 8mph hill climbing) - can't wait for it to dry out enough so I can ride it without getting lagged in mud :)
