Probably from the same supplier as you have mentioned before only worth getting from BMSB if ordering other items.

Hello,

I realised that my rear wheel was seriously out of shape and I decided to true the wheel, and as I did that I realised that some of the nipples didn't turn properly with my spanner. I decided to use a plier to turn the nipples but then I damaged the nipples:

Now my wheel is out of true... and my nipple is dead too :(

I realised that my spoke wrench was getting worned out as I was using it:

It had good review on amazon, I thought it would be good quality... it isn't at all.

So now, I need to get a proper 12G and 13G spoke wrench. Is there anywhere I can get one?

And what should I do with my damaged nipple? Any way I can save it or I can still keep truing the wheel? Or shall I get new nipples? but from where?

Thank you
I came home this evening,on my favourite hill a dreaded ping ping ping from the rear wheel made me realise that tightening the spokes a few nights ago really didn't do the trick. I came home and decided to do it properly for once and started truing the wheel - really tightening spokes opposite side of where it was out of true. It went OK,I'd retighten the slack side again afterwards to something like a musical low C. Then suddenly I stripped a spoke nipple. I didn't realise quite how catastrophic this would be,the bike is my everyday transport at the moment. I didn't conclude like you cwah that it was the spike wrench: I think its cheap badly built Chinese wheels that are so out of true that we end up expecting too much from the spokes as we tighten them beyondbwhat their meant to. But I read some internet stuff about spoke wrenches anyway? Essentially the consensus is that one needs a three sided one such as this

And that one should avoid the cheap crap that are less enclosing. I wish I lived closer to spa cycles. I got them to build wheels before and its almost supernaturally straight and true and strong
