What does this sound mean on my brake?

There was no squidgly sound the first few days.
I have changed the pads on the front, and no more squidgly sounds from there anyway.

Here's the old pads, or the less than a week old new pads.

Did you did resin or metal sintered pads?

No idea, they were Clarks pads in Halfords.
Anyway, they are a heck of a lot better than the ones Iin the pic, they stop the bike so much better.

did you bed in the brake pads? sinterd ones take a bit to get working over resin ones but i have a set of pads that just dont bite right on my disc rotors.

sinterd pads will last a lot longer than resin ones but in the rain sinterd pads will scream at you where resin ones wont.

Interesting, I wonder if the original pads were sintered ones for some reason, they can be noisier.
Anyway, let's hope your problem is solved now, if not try my suggestions in post 18.
