Welsh Beach Lock down Photos

The arrival of my Raleigh Motus at the start of the lock down will always be a very special time to me, never to be repeated (Hopefully) in my lifetime....very few cars on the road...Welsh beaches...locked off but not to bikes!




Ogmore beach...just me, Black beauty and the eternal sound of waves lapping the beach, in normal times very busy...That day, just me the bike and the beach...felt very privileged


Southerndown...nearby...deserted....horrible well known climb to cyclists to get back out to the main road...BB took it in her stride but for the first time did have to resort to 1st gear

Great pics.

I know that hill leading down to Southerndown car park. I clattered down it just before lockdown in my campervan with a broken suspension spring - everyone heard me coming. I wouldn't fancy tackling the upward climb on any bike.
