Not stealthy at all.
There's a nutter call 'liveforphyscs ' on ES and he built a 120mp rear hub bicycle for the drag strip.

It's a motorbike. Like this one but not as good:

That goes much quicker than 110mph, and with a 200 mile range. But not at the same time. ;)

but that bike is over 20k and will have a locked can bus system so rip off batt prices if they even sell them.

so about $6000 for all the parts and when the batt does die you can buy a new one if you can build it yourself.

but how easy would it be to make it road legal in the uk or would it be even possible if you made the frame from scratch or need to use a old motor bike frame.

True - it's a massive cost difference, but labour is missing, as is the appropriate suspension and brakes required for such a heavy bike (the Energica is no lightweight either). I wouldn't want to go fast on the homemade one without those upgrades.
However I guess, with those taken into account it's around 50% - still v good value.

It's a fun vehicle, but not one for 40k miles or so of ownership unless you're quite a skilled/dedicated owner.

that thing costs $10.000 and is 90a and 85kg and can go 70mph but ppl do buy them but at that price again the batt will be can bus locked to there ones only imo.

unless you can get 3rd party batts for these things in 5-10 years time they wont be worth fixing as who is going to make a batt that size to be sat in a warehouse for years as the bms will still need power to keep the programming and a bosch batt not used for 2 years kills' them as drains every cell flat over that time just to sto you recelling it for 200 quid.
