Water Ingress???

steve mine did the exact same thing after cleaning it (freego martin sport)
but controller was ok ? above bottom bracket on chain side is a disc must be the sensor for the electrics this was caked in mud cleaned it off and was good to go hope this may be of use to you

Hi Geoff, how do you like your Martin Sport, I like big batteries and wondered what sort of range you get with the 20 a/h.

sorry to take so long to reply . big heavy battery have done a 40 mile ride on it small hills big hills throttle and power, peddling controller showed 1 light left which I reckon I could get another 15 miles out of it but sore bum would not let me. on other topic bike has done 1100 miles have changed the chain (I diddent realise u need two chains because of battery sitting behind seat post)when taking chain off I noticed excessive play in the bottom bracket but turned out to be chain ring which is just pressed on to pedal crank other than having front wheel spokes tightened I like the bike very much built like a tank and just as heavy
