My wife bought a 705SE around June time. She hasn't ridden it too much but the place where she got it from said to take it back in three months for a checkup. However the place is really too far from us and we didn't manage to fit it into our schedule, so we didn't get it done.

Now we find out that our small town has a new Wisper dealer!

What is the situation with the warranty and the three month checkup and can we now get it done (late) by this dealer that is five minutes away from us?

Note that there is nothing wrong with the bike - it's working fine.

Hi Grover,

Your free and 300 mile check is only available from the dealer from whom you bought the bike. The profit made on the bike by the dealer enables them to do this. However if you take the bike to your local dealer ask them to call us regarding the 300 mile check and we will try and sort something out for you.

Thanks for the reply. ODO is 35 miles, so at the current rate it will take four years to reach 300 miles. Give this what is the requirements for the warranty coverage?

Should have added “or three months” best to put a few more miles on first to give the bike a good shake out. There will most likely be nothing wrong but it’s good to get is checked.
