Wanted - x 2 Batteries for Haibike Nduro please

My friend and I are retired downhill MTB racers, we have developed a worrying addiction to our Haibike Nduro downhill ebikes, the battery life is OK except we only use Turbo mode so we get about 3-4 trips up and down the mountain before we are into what we call "the danger zone" where we gamble an extra run with the prospect of a long walk back to the carpark.

I have a 12 v Inverter that runs off the ciggie lighter in the car, it gets us both about 1 extra battery bar over lunch break but really we need new batteries so that we can continue to shred past other non ebike MTB`er on the trails long into the afternoon.

Jeese d8veh, don't link to a non original Bosch battery, somebody on here will be along shortly saying it will invalidate the warranty!

On a more serious note do you have any experience of these copies yet for the Bosch system? Are they as good as the Bosch original ones?

thanks, are these knock offs then? ours are derestricted, plus they are covered in dents and the head units have both been snapped off in accidents so I think our waranties are invalid anyway.

Those batteries started appearing on AliBaba a few months ago, fairly sure they are far east copies.

AM interested however in d8veh's opinion of them though.

There's a thread on here somewhere about them. They are knock-offs, but IIRC they're OK.

its only a spare, to be fair we are both physically knackered by the time the main battery is done, we use mainly the sport setting to ride back up the fireroad to the top of the mountain then we use sport or tour on the way down - doing that gave us 6 full runs of Hopton Woods Shropshire (about 550 m elevation) but ideally we would use turbo everywhere - fly back up after a run and do so all day, two batteries would also let us put one on charge while we are out on the other for even more time.

Chinese Batteries are mark 1 for Bosch Classic system - If we talk about Nduro we should look for Bosch mark 2.

The German e-bay ones are the Chinese copies which I'm trying out. You can tell by the "S" shaped curve on the side. They are equivalent to the 36V 8 AH i.e. 288 watt hours. I'm told they have Samsung batteries inside but I'm not going open mine to find out. I've checked the voltage output and its identical to the OE. The computer recognises it OK. I'm looking for £250 for mine. If people like them I'll see if I can get some more.

.... but are not compatible with the latest N-duro range. Mine is a Classic+ with the upside down motor.
