Has anyone on here bought or tested one of these bikes? If so what did you think of them?

Thanks

I expect that it's got a few people on the forum drooling. It looks like the first electronic shifting system that actually works. Altogether, a very well thought out bike, I'd say. No doubt, expensive.

It looks a very well made bike. Looks a bit like the Reise & Muller Charger GX but cheaper. I'm liking the sound of the Shimano STePS Di2 system.

There is no throttle on STEPs. Di2 is offered on a few STEPs bikes, especially in Europe.

That's an older link, comes up in the browser as this:

http://electric-bike-store.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/23/products_id/5252

The link you posted earlier was apparently a later one, ending 5257:

http://electric-bike-store.co.uk/shop/product_info.php/cPath/23/products_id/5257

And has no mention of throttle. Maybe they realised their mistake and amended it for the later link. Both STEPS systems have always been Japanese and EU legal systems without full range throttle. This may have a walk-along throttle, being a cargo bike.

That was copied and pasted from the Wallerang's listing today. I'm not saying it's right though.

Yes but both pages are active and the latest one omits the throttle mention from that list, so presumably an editing correction.

Some of the dealers have a habit of not deleting old pages, many have active pages for stuff they haven't handled for years, even long discontinued bikes.

Pity they have just the one dealer in the whole if the UK. Right in the centre of London. Not very ideal.
