I do like our hub drive bikes and in more lazy days like today I will use the Swytch kit bike. For general use I do think the hub bikes are more versatile. The voodoo crank bike was bought for one purpose only get up the hill so we can batter down it . Would like to find a hub kit which can fit onto maxle bike but cannot find one.
I'm really looking forward to brain controlled speed sensors - it's not all that outlandish an expectation these days, and just a matter of time before there's a bluetooth gizmo built into a cycling hat to increase power to the motor, when it senses a particular practiced thought form.

On was posted over the last 48hrs, a Swizz maxle kit cost was about 2k. It's just not worth the cost though one could use a friction drive.
Hopefully maxle kits will become more popular and come down in price. 2K is far too much for a kit no matter how good.
