Hi, Vivien here- wakened up after winter!
Can I have some bog standard advice on getting up a half mile steep slope with sharp bends on a Volt Pulse?. At present I treat it in stages because I can't keep up the necessary speed on sharp bends. But this means hill starts 3 times on the way up. Sometimes the assist kicks in quickly enough for me to gain momentum pedalling and I'm off but other times it takes longer for the asssist to kick in and I have to try again. We're talking about a 1 in 5 gradient on level 2 of pedal assist.
I don't think the level of pedal assist makes any difference to the speed of actual engagement by the motor, and I don't want suddenly to surge forward too quickly to fix my line of travel on what is a narrow bumpy track.
Of course I can get off and walk the bike up the steepest sections but that feels like a cop out!
