Hey any opinions on this for committing and bit of gravel? 9 mile hike rural commute. Was going to go for Ribble cgr but really long wait. This is a bit cheaper too.

Been looking at this seriously for commute and a bit of fun.

Specs look good, and close to buying but as a relative Newby to ebikes (long time road bike user and commuter) I'd be interested if anyone had experience or comments which may be helpful.

I noticed round the motor looks particularly 'messy' with welds and looks a bit more open than similar types of motor set up.

Oh and, notice chain reaction has the same bike with Claris - is there a particular difference between two for ebike specific use? Know the road/mtb distinction but don't know if that applies to ebike stresses on drivechain.

I've bought one so I'll update you when I have it. I think the CRC description is wrong there is only an Alivio version. Obviously it's subjective but I think the finishes look fine.

Can't wait for new bike day!
