Hey so I have got my hands on a puegeot 103 carbolite from the 80s. The bike is a lightweight steel frame with drop bars and gears not even on the handlebars. Anyway I am going to be placing the 250W fronthub motor onto it with a 11AH battery.

Can anyone reccomend some good brakes to use with this bike when I go electric. It isn't compatabile with V or Disc brakes because its old but am wondering if anyone knows any strong brakes that are nutted, not allenkey.

I would be too scared to put a motor in that fork...

You could fit a magura hydraulic road bike brake if the rims are OK. The price will make your eyes water, a lot...
