All sounds really enjoyable Reini. As you say, there's a lot to be said for all the traffic moving slowly at a lowish
speed, and any accidents won't have such bad consequences as we suffer here in the West. No need to bother
with helmets and seat belts!

I've always had the impression that bicycles aren't maintained in many countries in the orient and in India as well.
Just looking at videos of people cycling in those countries it looks as though it's hard work.

In regards to motor power / pedal power, something that's slowly driving me insane is whenever I reply to someone "yes it's an electric bike", 90% of the time the 2nd question is "do you have to pedal uphill?"
