Used Bosch battery

Hi,

I'm considering buying an extra battery for my ebike to extend my range. Current battery is 500w. Is there anywhere reputable that sells used Bosch batteries or is my only option to buy a new one? There are loads on Ebay but you never know what you're getting.

Buying used is too risky unless it comes with the Bosch battery test results, that shows the health, how many charges, etc. Also, there are some compatibility issues between different versions of the same battery regarding the connectors and fixings, so make sure you get an identical one. I think that's mainly the downtube enclosed batteries.

a guy in my sig can recell them but i doubt you will save very much and the new smart batts wont work on older motors

As above with Merlin cycles for a replacement/extra. But take note as there are different types of the same WH
I was thinking of another 625wh and the one they have at that was not the same as my 625wh. Some are meant for dual set ups(625+500) others are meant to be used singly.
So check your battery number and see if its compatible with what they have.
