Usb. Charger adaptor

Anyone come across these before:-

Seems a reasonable idea if you have no usb on your battery. Inserts in the cable to the display.
Seems A bit expensive though for what it is.

You can see how it works. There are 5 wires in the LCD cable. All go straight through from connector to connector, but it splices in to the red and black if permanently on or blue/pink/orange switched wire and the black to be on only when the LCD is on. You could swap connectors to make it compatible or you could get one of these and splice it into your LCD cable.
