There's an outside chance of trying all the C2 parameters to see if any one of them will work as C2 is Phase related.

Incorrect phase sequences that result in noisy operation could blow the controller.Phase-Hall-Wire-Combinations.png

Incorrect combinations can damage the motor?
No damage to the motor, but you can blow the mosfets in the controller if you hold full power when the motor isn't turning smoothly. Just use a small amount of throttle for a short amount of time during testing.

If you remove the pins from the white block motor connector on the motor side, you can plug them into the controller connector directly while testing the combinations, which speeds it up a lot.

Changing C2 from 0 to 1 and the hub became silent. Will test properly later in the week.

Many thanks for the help vfr40

That's good to know. I wonder if that's the same as switching over any two phase wires, which is what I believe the other guy did?

C2 alters the phase sequence, I have tested it before on a bike that was running smoothly on C2/0 and the racket the change made was awful.
