Tyres help needed!

Could I ask as a novice ebiker if I can put bigger tyres on my Woosh santana petite.
It has 24 inch 1.75 width tyres on now and i would prefer something slightly wider as a bit of added comfort ( i have a disability) any help with tyre options is greatly appreciated.

Check carefully that you have enough room both front and back for the tyre size you wish to buy.
You may want to put one new fatter tyre first at the rear, where it is MOST important, and use the original tyres up, on the front, before equipping the front as well. Just a thought!
I agree entirely about the extra comfort.
Do you have sprung front and rear suspension? That makes the most difference I find....At least on my bike! But that will need a bike change I fear if you do not have that, unless someone here has a better solution....
Not having rear suspension I am told, can be offset to a degree by sprung saddle tubes, but do not ask me which, I have no idea at all......

Thanks for your reply Andy, if the tyre would go between the forks would say a 2 inch tyre fit onto a wheel that a 1.75 tyre on it at present. .. or would it mean having to buy new wheels
I have front suspension and I'm currently looking at suspension seat posts too

Not sure you would notice much difference between a 1.75 and 2” tyre. The suspension seatpost should be all you need if you get one of these.

Hi Jonah thanks for your reply...i agree with the 2 inch tyre . I'm under the impression you can only put a slightly larger tyre on to be honest the thicker I could go the better, what size thickness in your opinion may be able to fit?

If your rim already has a 1.75" then you should be ok to fit up to a 2.25" tyre.
Measure the rim width internal with the tyre off, if it is 19mm or more then you will be fine, to know if a tyre will fit measure the width between the rear stays.
