Hello everyone

Ive just got a electric bike and have bought some green slime to put in the tyres.
Im fairly new to cycling and cant understand what im doing wrong, ive deflated the tyres, unscrewed the valve and tried to put in the green slime put it will not go in the tyre?

Ive done as instructed - shook the bottle well, peeled the inner bottle safety sticker off and put the tube onto the wheel.
But it will not go in the inner tube
No matter how hard i squeeze.
i checked the slime and it comes out of the bottle ok and when i remove it from the wheel valve it flows freely.

Ive enclosed a picture of the valve that i took out, with my valve key.
is it possible theres another valve lower down that i cant see?
Ive tried both wheels on my bike and i cant get either to accept a drop of the slime

With the valve core out, put a bit of air in just to expand the tube, then try refilling
You will have to aqueeze the bottle amd jiggle the tyre a bit to get it to run in, you may also get the vacuum in the bottle sucking it back in, tip the bottle upright so it sucks air back in. It sounds a bit odd when you read it, but you will get the idea when you try again.

Thanks John. Is the valve core the part in the picture i put on or is that just the valve?
The valve in the picture is the only part i took out, unless theres a bit further down below the vale?

Thanks John

The bit you took out is the valve core, the problem is the tube lies flat without any air in it with no room for the slime. You need to manipulate the tube by hand to help squeeze the slime sown the tube.

Thanks John, thats probably what it is thinking about it, with it being a new bike and the inner tube flat inside the tyre.

I will try it after the weekend when i get back home and let you know.

Thanks John for the advise.
