Tyre pressure

I have and ebike a Cube Acid which I am giving a once over before taking it out on the road again this year.
Just got a track pump and can see that the tyres are 23 to 50 PSI, how should I set them front to rear. I'm 15 1/2 stone and will mainly ride on tracks, some roads and a little hillside stuff.
Is there a happy medium to cover all these areas.

for your weight I'd go for 35 front and 40 rear, that should roll well and have a little give off road

Hi egroover what tyre pressure would you recommend for 26" x 4" (1.4bar and 20psi max input) for a 16.5 stone rider?.
Thanks.
Andy.

Typically, fat-bike riders use pressures in the 8PSI range for soft conditions, 12-15PSI for trail riding and 20-25PSI for on-road or urban riding

Hi Mark, I’m a similar weight an have 60-622 big apples on my acid one.
my pressures are 35 psi rear & 25 front for the road bu when I go off the beaten track, I’ll drop down to 25 x 20 maybe a little less.

If you are using tubes I would not go too low as you could get a pinch puncture.

If tubeless you can go lower.

I am heavier than you and find around 30psi a good balance between off road and on if you don't want the bother of changing the pressures.

2.35 is not a fat bike tyre and that size is now quite normal on an e mountain bike.

I would personally do a bit of experimentation but probably not go less than 25psi if running tubes.

The idea of lower pressures off road is that in more difficult and slippery conditions the tyre will find grip and be less prone to slipping.

We are hopefully heading into better weather and dryer tracks where slightly higher pressures work better.

20psi or 1.4bar is the max on both tyres. I'm 16.5stone and tyres are 26" × 4" , so what is the best amount in both tyres for me weight please.
I'd rather not go above the max pressure.
Thanks
Andy.
