Probably worth getting a £2 repair kit to save a 3 mile walk.

Could you not "Lassie" your dog to sense your trouble, bring you the repair kit and a barrel of brandy.

By the time I'd have fixed it, I could be back home.

I run low pressure to go through woodland. It handles the roots well.

This is the reason why I got the puncture today.

No amount of pressure would have avoided being speared by that.

The dual purpose tyres on my ebike are crappy Kenda that i expected to have to change, but they've actually been ok. Rated at 85psi max and i take em to that or slightly over. Being 700x45 they still give a smooth ride even at those pressures.

Knowing my luck, the slime would probably seal me back up.

tubeless would have as can seal a quarter inc hole but over that then will need a new tyre.

you could get some no tubes and syringe it in to the tubes for better protection from flats as a bodge
