Well nobody can say it's strength hasn't been tested David.

Would I be right in thinking that will sell with the smaller 10 Ah battery, given it's Eco credentials?

I'm thinking that later this year or next year I might be able to get a new bike through the cycle to work scheme and so go a bit pricier than I'd normally be able to afford - but the usual framed Wisper is no good for me. I have to have the seat really high so I can extend my legs to almost straight - which means there's no way I've found (that can be done in polite company!) of getting onto a bike with a high crossbar. Trouble is, I want the range of the 905.

I don't suppose the 705 will ever come in a big capacity battery option? It would be a serious contender (number one choice!) for upgrading from my Windsor if it did.

Hi Flecc, at 21 stones I can say the 705 certainly has been tested!

Yes the Eco range is a no frills range that enables people to buy a great bike at less than the usual price.

However I for one think the bikes are a better ride without the front fork suspension!

Hi John, nice to hear from you. At 6'2" Doug does like a high seat position, the handle bars could have been better adjusted for him but he likes to think he's Barry Sheen!

Hi Nin, Originaly the 705 se was going to have the same size battery as the 905 but we felt it was less of a cruiser. However we will certainly discuss the possibilities.

I have a deposit down on one - visited your New Milton shop and had a ride on the 905SE - its a great bike, went with my family its a nice place for a shop, things for the kids to do, animals to look at or chase as in my 19 month old daughters case!

Im just waiting in eager anticipation for my bike to arrive - hopefully on the first container!

Must say I was pleasantly surprised the price had dropped. Even better value!

You can still clock up some serious miles on a workhorse .....

Would the bigger battery still fit it without any changes to the bike or battery? I'm thinking that maybe come next year you could sell me a 705 with a 905's battery ..... ?

The range really is important to me - I often cover 30 miles in a day and I can't be doing with having to carry a charger everywhere and trying to blag a power socket wherever I go .... my old Windsor with the terrible range was such a pain - you needed military planning to get from A to B without running out of juice.

I absolutely agree with you, unfortunately the 705 currently only has the smaller battery, and it can't be changed.

However, I think it is such a good idea that I am going to see what can be done.
