Who said anything about 56v ?

The supplier. What he's saying is that it should be OK with a 48v battery. It can go as high as 56v before it throws a wobbly. If it doesn't work at 52v, he's saying that something is wrong with it.

The controller problem has appeared on 750watt 48 versions some are flashed wrong , the display and controller do not match versions

Hi Peter were did you get this information from the supplier is sending me a new controller but do not want to end up with the same problem again.

Check out the thread on endless sphere [it is very long], also a couple of people have reported problems on here ,the display is flashed as well as the motor controller
