I built my TSDZ8 bike two days ago and it's great except I need a throttle: not for being a fat slob and not wanting to pedal, but to do the mule track 600m long to my house. It's up and down and narrow with steep dodgy drops in places. My two TSDZ2 bikes had surprisingly smooth and contollable throttle response but the 8 kicks in at 1.52V and so far I haven't managed to tame it electronically.
Is there anybody with personal experience of the official firmware kit or update service from the polish company ebikestuff.eu? I didn't bother with the 2's as I was happy enough, but if I knew for sure that a firmware update would smooth out the kick I'd go for it. Cheers in advance.

Sqeezy I ordered the firmware kit from ebikestuff and it arrives tomorrow, Tuesday 15th April.I'll post when I get a chance to work with it.I'm keen to source a plug to connect hydraulic brake cut off switches to the Tongsheng TSDZ8 harness plugs if anyone has sourced some.I bought Clarks sync 4e hydraulic brake kit which has the red 2 pin round cutoff connector

cheers, it'll be good to know. I've had some success offsetting the throttle voltage range to better match the reqd. controller input range but it doesn't soften the kick when the motor starts, and can provoke E04 alerts, so not worth while doing. Interesting to know if it's a motor characteristic or if firmware can tame the throttle.
