When I set up my TSDZ2 with the EDK01 display some months ago I went into the settings and changed the speed limit to 22mph. All was well. This morning suddenly the speed limit is locked to 16mph and I am unable to change it. When trying to change it in the settings pressing the up and down arrow now does nothing. What the hell has happened? I haven't messed with any other settings or tried to do anything clever with the firmwear. The only thing out of the ordinary that happened the day before was my bike got very wet in a storm but I can't see how that would result in this problem.
How do I get the speed limit to change again? I have tried a factory reset but that made no difference.

Someone has suggested it has been accidently been put into "street mode" but I have no idea how to check this or undo it if that has indeed happened.

Can you help me? This is so frustrating.

Thank you.

Be happy that you are now road legal , tbh I find riding above 15.5mph not an issue with my TSDZ2 with no PAS support.

First, I would gently warm the existing display with a hair dryer. Might have moisture under a button still. I guess you can buy another EDK01.

Replying to my own post in case anyone else encounters the same problem as I have now solved it. It seems the system did somehow get itself into street mode. This can be engaged or disengaged by holding down the up button and power button while the motor is running.
