Hi - I have a conversion kit for a front hub motor - I am wanting to fit two torque arms. Can anyone give any tips on dismantling the cable to get the torque arm over the connector. I've tried pulling on the cable in hope it is a slide on but seems to be on quite solid. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, you can use a small screwdriver to remove the cables from the plastic block connectors.
On assembly the metal is pushed into the plastic housing and a "barb" keeps it in place.
To dismantle, push the cable into the connector to take pressure off the "barb", use a small screwdriver to depress the "barb", pull the wire to remove the wire (with metal attached) from the plastic housing.

Don't pull too hard. They're sometimes badly crimped, so the wire pulls out of the terminal.

Another thing you can do is cut the wires a couple of inches from the connector, then solder them back together and heatshrink them.
