Yes but it rides excellent the tilt steer is a German treco design[kit very expensive] and allows for a safe trike that rides like a normal bike , power delivery to the rear wheel
The balance it spot on no fear of tipping over unlike a normal trike super big grin
Have a set of 20 x4.0 fat wheels and a spare fat bike in the garage and a twinkle of an idea of a off road version

Peter, you should by now know not to use the words "safe" and "trike" in the same sentence, it will at some point try to kill you and turn your super big grin into a look of utter horror ride safe very carefully

That was the point of this kit its designer has worked the angles, the stability and cornering are amazing. With the tilting device the turning circle is almost two wheel like, the wheel lift and the topple effect have all but gone. After a couple of slow rides cranked it up to 15.5 mph and so far still have no bumps or skin missing even after a excursion along the bridal path by the river
PS the rockshox air forks and suspension seat post help still have the scars from the fat trike

Might be ideal for when I get in my 80's and maybe more wobbly on a bike, solution looks a winner albeit a bit ugly. I guess one can fit larger rims, at about 800 euro's it's a lot cheaper then a new trike or bent trike.
Nice little front luggage cargo carrying ability is a plus, could be ideal for a small dog as well in basket or box.

Is it QR or thru axle fixing ?

It has quick release so will fit most any 100mm forks the brake lever can be removed quickly too
Raided the spares bin to build this 48v- 15 amp bafang basic c961 display
New purchases the trike kit unused of a uk seller -new battery and a rear tyre
Only built as a back up as i suffered a stroke in January ,but by the time i could finish building , found i could ride a normal bike again by sheer dumb luck have now made a full recovery

Visited the skate board bit in the park goes over the obstacle well the recons air fork now set up , the bmx kids could not stop laughing ps still not found the handling limits

What an excellent concept. Looking at their web-site, it doesn't seem to be too heavy or bulky. The overall width looks to be only about the same as normal handlebars, so shouldn't adversely impact the manoeuvrability advantages of a bike either. Great conversion.

The original company promo has a rider pulling wheelies and a race through a town so with out the motor kit it is very light ,after experimenting with trikes the only thing missing on this version are 4 inch tyres and a full suspension frame have the 20 inch rims but 20mm through axle 32h hubs and the 20 inch tyres cost to much

The frame fitted with a rear disc conversion a required upgrade from rim the brakes

I assume the stub axles are quite substantial to cope with the intended cargo weight. Do you know if the hubs use plain roller bearings or adjustable taper roller? Just curious.
