Battery/charging and switch on all normal. Throttle works very well but pedal assist never kicks in in any gear. I've had a look at the sensor and the plate by the crank and that seems clean - any suggestions on how to troubleshoot ?

It's a Freego Kingfisher

TIA

Did it work and then stop working, or did it never work?
If it did work before, did you do anything that might have affected it?
Reasons it might not work:
Magnet disk on back-to-front
Wire broken between sensor and controller
Pin pulled out of connector at controller
Connector not connected properly
Switch on the throttle in off position
Too much gap between the magnet disk and the sensor

please report back what you find

Thanks for the quick reply!

It has worked for the past 10 months then stopped working yesterday, not done any work on bike (apart from fit a hydraulic front brake about 8 months ago and replace the LED about a month ago). Report on rest in a bit

thanks again for pointers

Solved - apparently the chain had come off (my wife mainly uses the bike) and this must have moved the sensor

I levered the bracket holding the sensor back towards the disc and voila!

thank you so much
