Do not lecture me on manners or rudeness as when you learn to show respect for people as you obviously have little, you come back and talk ,or maybe dont come back and talk ,you should be ashamed of yourself ,paper over it as you will ,a joke columb for the Paralympics , wonderful ,sums it up doesnt it ,i could go on but i wont ,like i said appaling ,and end of conversation from me .you tell some one who wants to listen,

scarrabri, I'll have one last go at trying to make you understand. The jokes are NOT about the people taking part in the Paralympics. I am getting at the people who tend to be patronising towards people who have a disability. The same people tend to have a, "hair trigger" when it comes to offensiveness and almost actively seek out offensive situations that don't exist. It's almost as though they experience a higher fulfilment and / or emotional incontinence if they can, "find" something to be offended over. The comment about not making them perform for our entertainment is meant to be ridiculous, ill thought out, stupid, patronising and somehow encapsulating the character of the people described above. It's an attempt at irony.

As you know, these Paralympic athletes have overcome huge challenges to get where they are, the last thing that I want to do is insult them. Somehow, I don't think that you will understand this, because you don't want to understand. You probably want to find the comment offensive because.....
