Think I want one...

Phil, there is no "think" about it. :)

Adding the yellow tint has transformed the whole use of the light for my use. The bright white colour and glare has gone, there is no apparent loss of light, and the beam is more than enough for riding conditions including technical slow terrain, to significantly faster clear trail use. The yellow tint also helps to define shadow better than the cold white light does.
It'll be interesting to see how the yellow tint works in rain and foggy conditions.

Open field use.

Wide track use.

Sketchy root ridden woodland use.

I ordered one ages ago and my order got cancelled and refunded by the seller due to delivery problems.
I've just ordered another one to try again. I recommended it to a friend who got his really quick and he's very impressed and I've not even seen one yet.

Ah. But don't forget I am in the process of replacing everything that was lost
And which should have stayed lost but which was found again?

Question from a hobbit...

I have a spreadsheet so I know the total

And?... About £1200 in all including a 20 Ah battery, chargers, power supply and two locks - frame and D lock.

I am going to say something negative about b+m: The damned wires are too short! The front light wire isn't long enough to get to the controller and the back one, which I bought in a separate kit with mudguard fittings is barely long enough to take the normal route...

3/10 for that b+m :( skimping on wire length to save a couple of € cents is what the Chinese do we expect better from Germany.

You need to arrange the cells in something like 3S2P to get enough current and capacity. I have one of those that I converted with reclaimed cells from laptob batteries. I used 3S4P, and I soldered on a 3S lipo balance lead, which I can charge directly with my BS 168 lipo charger.

i can only charge 2 cells at a time so need to remove them.

i tried my batt case but just shuts off as get flashing led, turn off and on and its fine tho.

id rather have a balance charger for my bike batt than the bosch one tho and dump the bms ;)
