that does look good but most people in your age group would appreciate some sort of suspension. Also, the cranks seem too long to me.

First thought, what are you taking !
But the more I looked & thought about it, the more I'd like to try one out.
As to buying one, I found no retailers but did find this on new atlas.com

(Sept. 10/14): A Bygen representative has told us that the Hank will go on sale in Korea as of this October, with overseas distribution to follow sometime after. It will start out priced at US$5,000, although the company is hoping to be able to lower that price as distribution widens.

brompton is still the best!
I'm not so sure. It's a little on the heavy side. OK as a bicycle, but too heavy with a battery and motor. I've now fallen in love with the Gocycle. It's folding is no good for regularly taking on the bus or train, but would be OK for a car or taking into the office. Only 13kg with a 300Wh battery and 25 mph.

BTW, did you see yourself, I mean someone that looked like you, in the Sunday Times. Look at post #72, or maybe for legal reasons it was someone else:

Is it just me, or do you need to have the limbs of an orangutan to ride it? The seat looks awfully far away from the handlebars.

It's a semi-recumbent, Your legs, arms and bum are in different positions compared with a normal bike. It's a bit like those tricycles with pedals on the front wheel that very young kids have.

Here's another one of their designs. They're really not short od good ideas:

and see if you can figure out how this one works:

Weight with battery is 16.1kg from gocycle site... and it's too big anyway.

If you're worried about weight, just get a brompton titanium like Jerry, then get a Keyde kit that would add about 3kg for a 300wh battery:
http://www.keyde.com/en/Product/motor/Front_motor/2015/0828/124.html

So a total of 300wh too, and 12.5kg. But max speed maybe closer to 15-20mph.

Electric Brompton's heavy!

How about this one at 11.5kg ;)

Ok there is the bag with the battery as well but max of about 3kg with a 25 mile battery. You do have to put up with the naff Keyde motor as well lol

..... and only suitable for flat Cambidgeshire roads ?

Do you still use that bike, Jerry. If so, how many miles has it done? Did you have any problems with the Keyde motor. I know that the back motors had problems, but I don't think I heard of any bad front ones.

Yes hence why I said naff Keyde motor. My front Keyde motors work fine but the first one developed a lot of noise (but still works perfectly) after 800 miles.

I decommissioned this light weight Brompton recently. If I only had the Titanium one I would have put a Tongxin in it, increasing the weight by another 0.5kg. However I feel very attached and sentimental with the original stock black Brompton I purchased and converted to "E" with help from this this forum back in 2009 and am still using most days for the 10 mile round commute to work.

You are also right of course, the setup it purely tested and suitable in the environment I use it, living and working in Cambridge.

Hold on there is the steep cycle bridge and a few other inclines on my commute ;)

Then of course also those strong head winds in the winter months!
