Kudos,Wisper etc are bringing our bikes out to the shires so that you can view these ebikes close to home....we have events from London to the Peak District to Rutland Water to Cornwall but all of this is a waste of effort if nobody turns up,its not just the converted we want to see,its your friends and family who have never experienced the joy of an ebike, these events are not high-brow they are relaxed and fun with no pressure selling.
If someone rides an ebike and decides its not for them, thats ok. But I suspect that there are many out there who are a little daunted as to the prospect of riding an ebike-if you can ride a conventional bike, you can ride an ebike-they are not frightening.
So please bring everyone along to try these bikes.

Perhaps Juicy think you are parking your Kent coast tanks on their Derbyshire lawn.

Any event will succeed or fail if the fickle British weather is not on your side.

April 7th 2012, first of two Raleigh Big Bike Rides here in Swindon. First six mile ride of the day, temperature 5.6 degrees C, overcast. 2nd ride, 6 degrees C, overcast and light drizzle. By the 3rd ride, the cold had penetrated my thermals, merrino top and thick soft shell jacket. 4th ride, I stayed in the shop next to the Tassimo machine and cakes. ;)

I understand the reasons for the early timing of the Redbridge/Hog Hill event, but be aware the UK weather singularity predicts, with a 71% probability, a cold showery day.

Spot on blewit.

Hopefully thats where the event at the Eden Project should score.

On a warm sunny day down here everyone goes to the beach. We need less wonderful weather to attract people to the show.

If its orrible the biomes are attractive and people are always curious about anything different that is available to try if they are there anyway.

Bestest of all.... The coffee with scones, jam and proper cream are truly excellent. I can vouch for that as one cakeman to another.:p
