I am still on my search for my first Pedelec and learning things all the time.
I am in Denmark and yesterday Jannie and I tested a Mosquito Street Energy ED2 which had all the nice things like B&M lights and Schwalbe tyres but there seemed to be no power in it.
I have been sending e-mails to Cytronex about a Cannondale CAAD9 and to their credit they are really not keen to take £4000 from me for 2 of these bikes beause they would not be able to provide the level of customer service that they would like.
After reading lots of reviews it now makes sense to buy close to home as I do not think I have read a review of any bike where some type of problem has not arisen, some of them serious problems needing work from mechanics.
I have arranged for my local bike dealer to get a Panther Polaris TE777 in for next Wednesday so Jannie and I can take it for a test ride. It retails at about £1800 and is at the top end of Panthers electrical bikes. I know a little about Pather cycles and they have a good reputation in Denmark and Germany.
Here are some specs on the bike and I would appreciate some comments from those more knowledeable than I.

with the refined details. The NJU framework offers the optical
harmony and balance-optimized placement of the 40 cell battery on the frame
Seat tube. The battery is thus to intergrativen and unobtrusive part

The system offers a total of 9 ED3 driving modes. The three main modes: ECO / NORMAL / SPORT
Within these main modes jeweilsim can display 3 different terrain profiles can be selected.
