Welcome. I think soon we'll have to have a Tesco Hopper/Viking Ego section of the forum. That's several new members in the last week.

Wireless computers generally don't work well with electric bikes. some people will tell us that theirs work without problems, but for me it's simply not worth the risk for such a small advantage. A wired one from Tesco or Aldi will work perfectly for about £7

I had a wireless failure on my Rose/Bosch ebike, so wired would be my suggestion.

In my experience you are better off with a wired unit.

PS well on a bike with a front motor hub of course. I guess you could put a wireless one on the back ?

I fitted the Tesco wired one about a year ago. Thought the magnets in the front motor might upset the readings.
Checked mine with Garmin 78s Gps from the boat, and it seems pretty accurate.
Easy to install. Just measure circumference of wheel and input. Magnet screws onto spoke opposite sender on forks which is held on with 2 cable ties. Tape up wire to front brake/gear cables - leaving a bit of slack to let the handlebar turn.
Should only take 10/15 minutes.

Hi just fitted the £7 Tesco wired computer onto Hopper.
My only observations on fitting are Wire only just long enough to reach position on left side of forks would never reach to the rear wheel if you was going to fit it there, had to pack out the fork sensor to get a proper reading not many options on where to fit on forks the higher you go on forks the greater the distance from spoke sensor.
Instruction booklet useless just pictures comp setup more of a trial and error not to bad once you have managed the first initial setup I had to do the walk the line calculation to get my wheel size as the 20 inch wheel not shown in table my calculation was 1510mm on ( 20 x 1.75 tyre )hope that's right any body using a differant setting for this bike.other than that I suppose it's good value for money.
Just started raining so will have to hold of road test, any body stuck on setting up just give me a post.

Use the GPS in your phone to compare speeds, then adjust the number accordingly. If you don't have a phone with GPS, borrow one or use your Tomtom.

Can only fit to the front forks. Agreed instructions are not brilliant.
I have 2" big apple tyres on mine which makes it a little bit bigger in circumference - yours measurement sounds about right.
