Found i had burnt my head while riding yesterday, didn't realise the vents were as big as they are in helmet. Anyone recomend a sunscreen that won't run into eyes and sting.

Of course, why do you need to ask?Should i baste my head before using the tin foil.

Head (and any part of the body) protection, to stop sunburn, needs to be black, as this absorbs the suns energy as heat itself.Seriously though even with a head of hair one will get sun stroke out in this weather, I wear a Lidl Bmx/ski type helmet or a Dudes helmet with a few air vents in the top.
A thin skull cap/beanie can be warn under one or a bandana as already mentioned, I myself prefer and use a multiuse Buff which can be worn in several ways.
