What you need to stick out, is a shovel
Can I interest you in one of these? Yours for only a million pounds...

Does the throttle twist and go without that end cap? If not, you might be able to fit the end bar mirror, after making the hole bigger, or by using a longer bolt... but that would restrict the click-in angles possible with the Dooback. He he now that should do the trick LOL
I've just looked at ends of my handlebars and it seems the end cap comes off with a Allen key so will try that when mirrors arrive

I think I would have tried removing that end cap before ordering mirrors, just to be sure what happens.
Isn't Vine moving out to the right a bit, to avoid the green bikes ahead, which are in the cycle lane?
no he is just a twat with mirrors and cant read eitherIsn't Vine moving out to the right a bit, to avoid the green bikes ahead, which are in the cycle lane?
Tell Vine I will accept a million pounds by Paypal, plus P&P - that sort of thing used to happen a lot before I attached this to my right handlebar end. I don't know what @trevor brooker and @WheezyRider charge for theirs.no he is just a twat with mirrors and cant read either
Also the Insta360 he's using has no way to set low shutter speeds and ISO, so he'll never capture clear number plates at night, unless the vehicles are moving slowly and close. With a GoPro 7 Black or newer at 1/240th of a second, he'd record most, at 1/480th of a second he'd get them all (@ISO 1600, HyperSmooth off)
No , I wouldn't be seen dead with those. Are these what you mean Nealh as looks ok as I do really want wing mirrors on ends of handlebars but am a bit worried now as will I have to cut the throttle grip. I will have to check the ends of handlebars how do they tighten up

Cool but another item for a thief to steal from your bikeAn alternative solution:
Or you could use a normal handgrip, ditch the throttle?Im sure it just removes the end cap if not will have to return the mirrors
Maybe you could use your wireless doorbell camera and app? Tape the button down? It should make itself useful.Cool but another item for a thief to steal from your bike
Nar won’t do thatOr you could use a normal handgrip, ditch the throttle?
Wow what a marvellous good idea. And wow what a memory you have.Maybe you could use your wireless doorbell camera and app? Tape the button down? It should make itself useful.
You shouldn't need to, even if the pictured end cap is required for the twist and go throttle - I think you can just use a longer bolt, the end cap you have and the existing expanding plug, not Zefal's. You'll see when the mirrors arrive, that the end bolt goes through a plastic part, which fits into a cup that allows the mirror to be angled into place, you just need to secure those two pieces with a long bolt of the same thread, into the expanding plug.if not will have to return the mirrors
Yes I had a thumb throttle on the old moped I do prefer thumb throttle. But not going to mess with the bike as it’s new. And I’m sure those end caps are not attached to the throttle grip. I will know when mirrors arrive, Well there is a Allen key slot at the ends so I’m hoping it’s to remove the capsYou shouldn't need to, even if the end cap is required for the twist and go throttle - I think you can just use a longer bolt, the end cap you have and the existing expanding plug, not Zefal's. Alternatively perhaps you could use a thumb throttle and fit a normal handlebar grip?
If your end cap is needed for the throttle to function, and if the expanding end of the Zefal plug is too big for the existing hole, I'd simply cut the expanding end of this part off, and bolt through the hemisphere using a longer bolt.Yes I had a thumb throttle on the old moped I do prefer thumb throttle.
