suggestions for new 26" tyre with pp and decentnrolling resistance

hi all

my 26" mtb kudos bike has specialised armadillo tyres, they have now covered 4000 miles, one is showing its age and needs replacing, they tend to give a bit of a harsh ride size is 26"x 2.1

I a,m not sure what to replace tyre with I want some level of puncture protection , but better rolling resistance

and mybe go to a slightly narrower tyre. I am mainly on tarmac.

Tubeless I would agree but with tubes they lose a lot of speed.

If you ride a mix of trail and road then Smart Sam plus are a decent option. Keep the psi up though

I went for big ben plus the e50 one for ebikes 26X2.1 could not find any real savings so £27 from tredz free pp

the almotion seemed very expensive

the outer shell of my specialised armadillo is coming away from the tyre carcass so need a tyre fairly quick.
