STUPID QUESTION

where do I find the frame number on my Kalkhoff Agattu HS 8G
( excuse I'm 82 and have mobility problems so avoid bending down too often)

frame numbers are stamped on the underside of bottom brackets, on most bikes, not to sure about yours(,ps not a stupid question if you dont know, iv known people who have ridden bikes for years who didnt know)

It's printed on a security label attached underneath the lowest part of the frame - near the motor.

Maybe a mirror will help you see it David. Alternatively, if you have a digital camera, you could set it for macro (close up) and held at arms length photograph the label, reading it in comfort later from the screen.

Thank you all - especially the imaginative suggestions - but it turns out that on this model the frame number is on the seat post behind the battery. So with battery lifted out of the way I have been able to read it by merely leaning forward. A relief!!
