So, there I was, coasting down this big long hill near the house and when I went to slow down, the front brake decided that it no longer wanted to do it's job. Luckily the rear was working. Checked it all over and decided that I needed a new set of brake pads.
Looking online it's definitley not a one-size-fits-all choice out there. So here I am hoping the good folk here will be able to help out.
The bike is a cheapo Myatu/Ancheer 'MTB' of 2017 vintage with 'Filel' branded brake calipers working on the usual rotor set up. Mechanical, not hydraulic. Looking online I cannot find reference to 'Filel' brand calipers, so am assuming it's another chinese knock off that no longer is in production or are now known by another name.
So my question is [at last] can anyone tell me what brake pads will fit this set up. I'd normally let my local bike shop sort this out but as we're all in lockdown I suspect I'll need to get them online and try and sort things out myself.
