Stealth Drive Systems and Prices

Hello!

I am trying to determine the variety of stealth drive systems out there. Specifically mid-mount drive which assists in turning the cranks.

I know Vivax is one, starting at around 2700Euro.

Fazua E-Vation is another, but I struggle to find pricing. Does anyone know?

And if you have any others to add to the list, I am happy to hear about them. Ideally the battery can be integrated into the frame somehow, and the motor is also relatively unobtrusive.

The fazua one isn't a retro fit by the looks of it ie needs a dedicated frame like the Bosch or Panasonic mid dives.

Maybe they only supply OEM? Hence you can't find pricing ?

Presulbly the mid drives such as bafang or Gsm are not "stealth" enough ?

The keyde hub motors are small and unobtrusive. A cleverly hidden small ah battery could make a very stealthy setup?

Also tongxin as used in Cytronex bikes (though this forum is full of reliability issues , they seem a bit fragile )

Thanks for some information! Yes, indeed some of those can't be retrofit. But that is actually okay in my perspective. Just trying to collate some information on these "stealth" systems, so I am happy to hear about systems which do require a dedicated frame.

Not too dear. $1150 for the basic MTB with Shimano Tourney and Suntour XTC forks. $2180 for Shimano XT and Manitou air forks. It depends what components you want fitted. There's a lot of options. Enquiries to bassbicycle@gmail.com or bass@annad.net
