Standard bottle battery ?

Hello I have a greenacre MTB ebike kit 36v 250w the controller is built into the battery housing so it's nice and neat and I'd like to keep; battery is on its last legs and I need to replace greenacre supply a new 9ah 36v one for £400 which is steep I have attached pictures is this a standard bottle battery cheers ?

Yes it looks a generic type used, though the base connection changes with slight design changes. A new one will come with a new holder so best to swap the whole lot over.
The battery is often sold under the XGO brand and is a sonders case I think.

Also look on ebay, one doesn't have to stick with 9ah as this is just the range/capacity of the cells. Some have 15ahcapacity.

Thanks for the help; my only concern is that the controller is in the base of the battery holder so it's probably time to swap the lot and get a separate controller and a battery at least it will give me options going forward; appreciate your help though many thanks

Are you sure the controller is in with the battery? I ask , as from the pics, it just looks like a standard bottle battery.

If it is just a battery then £134 will get you a 36v 10Ahr bottle battery and holder from PSW Power via their Ali Express store - mine shipped from Germany in 6 calendar days and no import duty. (link)

The controller is in the base of the battery holder fixed to the frame.

I prefer a seperate bat and speed controller. (ah isnt big though, try get over 12ah for distance. Obv its all down to personal preference too.

When I follow the link, then select shipping from Germany, it adds shipping and VAT giving a total of £161.73
What am I doing wrong?

I've just followed my own link from above and going into the order process as far as getting the option to PLACE ORDER, the battery plus post comes to 176 USD so just over 129 GBP.

So whether by placing the order VAT is added, I can't confirm of course, but it didn't when I ordered it.

Thanks, I followed your link and get $165.68 plus $10.53 shipping plus $35.25 VAT, same for Germany, Czech Republic or China shipping. So $211.46 = £155.20 paying by credit card.

It’s not the end of the world, but I’d be interested to know why.

Well, I got my initial figures (no VAT) this morning but I've just tried it again and this time I've got the same as you! I have no explanation!!!
