Oh I wish I knew what you are all talking about!
But, I am pretty sure that my 2 litre car or my 2.5 litre campervan isn't so complicated.
For a puny 250 watt continuous, isn't this all a bit abstruse?

WOW - That was quick: Thanks Danny.

There was no need to spend THAT much on postage, though: I'd have been content to wait a few more days

hey ! time is money :)

so please don't touch any parameter, and go directly to throttle mode and skip all settings, let me see if our default value is correct !

Sorry Danny, didn't see this until after I'd connected up the speedict in Road Legal 2, as this is the mode I'm interested in.

I've sent a port status report which, as far as I recall, is without changing anything other than setting throttle low & high values - As you can see the back wheel kept spinning until I pulled the plug & I'm getting a peculiar pas readout.

hi jackhandy,

i have engineers with me now and they are inspecting all the port status reports we have during holiday, from the first one you connect pas with zero port 4 out, we may have software problem ... please wait a moment !

It has gone very quiet since Danny's last post early this morning.
I presume there is a problem with the software.
Has anyone tried to sychronise trip records?
That does not work on my galaxy note running 4.O.4 either.
Seems to work on the tablet on 3.2.
I thought it had not recorded any data but I was looking at the "trip " recorded after I got home.

Chart view ony shows start voltage and everything else is flatlined at 0.00

Nope Spoke too soon. Now the tablet cant synchronise either.
Says Refresh record list..... And the little circle goes round and round and.......

Dont know if its just my kit but things seem to work sometimes. If they feel like it. Or then again they dont work at all.

I'm not having any problems with my trip records, but I make sure the bluetooth is connected before syncronisation.Ive successfully downloaded the record too. I have Android 4.0.4 as detailed earlier. Although my throttle is working, I found out that on a long journey it wasn't quite right, so now waiting for the software update.

Hi Danny
The bike is now on a stand so i have been testing my speedict controller.
I have a few questions
Once again, in throttle mode
port 1 speed,
port 2 throttle in,
port 3 temp,
port 4 throttle out
I have downloaded the lastest s/w upgrade.

It works ok, but if i check the port status, the speed o/p port 1 shows 10mph more than it should. (i have temporarily added another speedo to double check).

If i check in 'liveview' the speed is correct. Is there a software glitch?

Also, when i disconnect the battery and reconnect the battery the hub doesn't rotate when i twist the throttle, yet port 4 shows an o/p to the controller. Only when i disconnect the throttle cable from the speedict and reconnect does it start working again.......weird!!

Now heres a funny old thing ...

28.4kph = wait for it

17.6mph
So it would seem that its got short term memory issues (haven't we all) as to its kph/mph setting

Seems that the same thing happens with the temperature as well .. giving C instead of F (may be easily fixed in the next release as its only a GUI display issue)

Dave, I did wonder that, but never checked it out. I set the bike parameters in mph and centigrade and would expect that to show in the port status. However,
I have just changed the temperature to Fahrenheight and port status shows Centigrade live view is Fahrenheight.
You've got it right, thanks.

You have yours running?
what happens when you disconnect and re-connect your battery? do you get a non functioning throttle?

my live view permanently showed cadence = 223 - a tad more than my little old legs can go....

port status showed a more believable rate, but seemed low (50-55 when I thunk I was doing about 70)...

But that's all water under the bridge since I updated the firmware to 1.0.2......

And bricked the second one in a week
