The sparta advises to charge after every journey and my ride is only 5 to 6 miles, however I have gone about 15 miles when I first had the bike. I am also a heavyweight 15stone.
When I first had the bike one of the cells was not working so the battery was replaced. I have had no trouble since. I have had the bike since April this year.
